Programme InformationOral PresentationsThere will be three sessions for oral communications; one free communication session and one dedicated to the theme of 'Focus beyond the laboratory', taken from selected abstracts submitted by all delegates. The final session will consist of papers submitted by Members of the Association for Clinical Biochemistry, under 35 years of age - The Siemens Award. All oral presentations must also be presented as posters. Poster SessionsPoster sessions will be held on all three days of the meeting. Poster topics will coordinated with the scientific programme of the day. Selected posters will be introduced by the presenting authors and reviewed daily in lunchtime poster workshops. A Siemens Poster Prize will be awarded for the three best posters. Published AbstractsAbstracts that are accepted for presentation at the meeting will be published as a supplement to the Annals of Clinical Biochemistry. Siemens Award

Professors PrizeThis is awarded by the UK Heads of Academic Departments of Clinical Biochemistry to an individual under 40 years of age who has made an outstanding contribution to the field. CPD AccreditationFocus 2007 will be fully accredited for CPD schemes of the Royal College of Pathologists and the Institute of Biomedical Science. |
