Tendering for major equipment?
Finding it difficult to get involved?
Mr Ian Hanning, Hull
It is often difficult for trainees to get involved in instrument procurement, partly because of their junior status and partly because most contracts for major equipment are now 7-10 years, so are undertaken relatively infrequently. This session aims to introduce you to the processes involved and give you the opportunity to work in small groups to select appropriate equipment against a defined specification.
