ACB Medal Awards and Poster Prizes

The ACB Medal Awards are given for oral communications presented by Members of the Association who are, at the time of the presentation, in training (i.e. working towards, but not yet been awarded, FRCPath). The winner receives a silver medal and a £1000 bursary, the runner-up a £500 bursary.

The Poster Prizes are £500 bursaries awarded for 1. the best clinical case poster, and 2. the best clinical audit poster presented at the meeting. The bursaries may be used to further develop a project or fund attendance at a future scientific meeting. To enter, please tick the relevant box on the abstract submission form.

Posters will be located in the Exhibition hall.

CPD Accreditation

Focus 2012 will be fully accredited for CPD schemes of the Royal College of
Pathologists and the Institute of Biomedical Science.
